No FileTern file-count or file-size limits. Very large jobs still depend on your browser and device memory.

How to split or extract pages

Choose a PDF and select pages in the preview. Extract selected makes one PDF from those pages. Remove selected keeps the other pages. Separate selected pages makes a PDF for each selected page. Choose the output type, create the result and download it.

Choose the right output

The original PDF remains on your device. When you create several files, you can download them individually or together in a ZIP. This tool processes the selected file locally in your browser. Very large PDFs may exceed available device memory.

Continue editing

Want to combine the extracted pages with another document? Merge PDF files. To move or rotate pages within a single PDF instead, use Reorder PDF pages. See Image ↔ PDF if you need PNG images of PDF pages.

Picking the right pages

Use the visual preview to check the page numbers before choosing a mode. Extract and remove each produce a single document, while separate pages produces several individual PDFs. A ZIP download collects the separate results for convenience; the PDFs inside remain individual files. If you select the wrong pages, return to the editor and change the selection rather than opening the source document again.

Before using the output

You can edit the output filename, and the proper extension is added automatically. The tool does not modify the original PDF. Password-protected or damaged PDFs may not open. Advanced PDF features such as signatures, bookmarks, forms and attachments might not be preserved exactly when pages are copied. Check the saved output before replacing or deleting an important original. Reloading the page clears the current working files.
