Merge PDF Files Online

One PDF. Everything in order.

Add PDFs, arrange the documents and their pages, then create one finished file.

Your files are processed on this device and are not uploaded to a FileTern application server.

No FileTern file-count or file-size limits. Very large jobs still depend on your browser and device memory.

Drag to reorder on desktop, or use the move buttons on any device.

How to merge PDF files

Add two or more PDFs, put the documents in order and use Review pages if individual pages need moving. Select Merge PDFs, give the finished file a name and download it. You can add more files or start again without leaving the page.

Control the result

You can change document order, move pages inside each document and remove an unwanted file before merging. For pages you need to delete from a single PDF, use Split or extract PDF pages. To rearrange or rotate a single document, use Reorder PDF pages.

Files and limits

The selected PDFs are processed on your device; their contents are not uploaded to a FileTern application server. FileTern imposes no fixed file-count or file-size cap, but large or complex jobs still depend on your browser and device memory. Need a PDF from photos first? Use Image to PDF.

Before you create the file

Review the order in the editor. A document can contain pages you do not want in the final PDF; open its page view to move them or use the split tool to remove them first. The PDF merger creates a new file from the chosen pages. It does not change the PDFs on your device. Password-protected, malformed or unsupported input PDFs cannot be processed.

After merging

The result screen lets you edit the output name before downloading. The .pdf extension is added automatically. You can return to the editor to change the order and create another result, or choose Start again to clear the current selection. Keep the page open until you have saved the file: working files are cleared if you reload or leave. Inspect important documents after merging, especially if they contain forms, signatures, bookmarks or unusual annotations.
