or choose from your device

No FileTern file-count or file-size limits. Very large jobs still depend on your browser and device memory.

How to reorder pages

Choose a PDF and use the page previews to see its current order. Drag pages on desktop or use the Move earlier and Move later buttons on any device. Rotate a page in 90° steps, then create and download a new PDF.

What changes in your document

Page order and rotation are applied together in the resulting file. The source PDF is not edited in place. FileTern processes it on your device without uploading its contents to an application server. Large or complex documents depend on available browser memory; inspect the saved PDF before relying on it.

Other page tasks

Need to combine several documents? Merge PDF files also lets you arrange pages before combining. To extract or delete pages, use Split or extract PDF pages. For pictures or PNG output, use Image ↔ PDF.

Moving and rotating precisely

Each page preview has controls for moving earlier or later, so touch and keyboard users do not need to drag. Rotation can be applied repeatedly in 90° steps before you create the output. You can review the order as often as needed. The tool works on one PDF at a time; if you need pages from more than one file, use the merge tool instead.

Saving the new order

The result is a new PDF with an editable download name and an automatically added .pdf extension. Return to the editor if you want to try a different order. Start again clears the current files, and reloading the page does the same. Password-protected and malformed PDFs may be rejected. Page restructuring may affect advanced features such as interactive forms, bookmarks or digital signatures, so inspect an important result before discarding its source.
